WHAT IS THE 21 DAY KICK START CHALLENGE?

The 21 Day Challenge is a VLCD Diet (Very Low Calorie Diet) which combines our Meal Replacement Products, Healthy Meal Options, Intermittent
fasting & Support Supplements to achieve rapid weight loss results


VLCD stands for “Very Low Calorie Diet”.
A VLCD is a low carbohydrate, meal replacement diet for the management
of obesity. It provides 1200 calories or less per day, whilst consisting of
sufficient protein, fatty acids, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals for
safe and rapid weight loss. Very low calorie diets have been shown to be
very effective in the management of obesity, with weekly weight losses
averaging approximately 2kg - 5kg per week, providing greater initial
weight loss than other forms of calorie restriction.
Reducing energy (calorie) intake to less than 1200 calories as well as
reducing carbohydrate intake leads to a whole body shift towards fat
stores being utilised as the major source of energy through a process
called ketosis. This results in consistent and successful weight loss.

“What is Intermittent Fasting”
When the body is constantly tied up with digesting food, it doesn’t allow
us to fully clean house and experience the fat burning effects you we are
aiming for. After your evening Meal, leave a twelve-hour window before
having your Breakfast Shake. If you have your evening meal at 7pm, you
should have your morning Meal Replacement at 7am or later. The body
sends the signal to go into deep detox mode approximately eight hours
after your last meal. Then the body needs another four hours to do a deep
clean. Eight hours (for digestion) + four hours (for a deep clean) = The
Twelve-Hour Window. Although you may find it challenging, committing
to it will help you get the most out of your 21 Day Challenge

Who is the 21 Day Cleanse for?
The 21 Day Kick Start is great for many different types of individuals,
lifestyles, and diets. It is specially formulated only for those who are over
18 years old, and is not suitable for those who are pregnant or nursing.
If you are curious about contraindications between the Cleanse and a
medication, be sure to consult with your doctor. The Kick Start is aimed
at individuals looking to make a drastic change in their lifestyle habits
and to kick start rapid weight loss over a short period of time.


How much should I exercise on the programme?
We recommend taking it easy in the first 7 days of the program, while you see how your
body is adjusting. After that, it’s fine to return to a modified version of your normal level of
exercise and we suggest getting in at least 10 000 Steps per day for Weeks 2 and 3.

What is the 12 Hour Window?
